Lancôme's L'Absolu Nu Lipstick Really Shines for a Split Second - Makeup and Beauty Blog
Whatsoever you do, keep flaky lips far, far away from the Lancôme Fifty'Absolu Nu lipsticks ($29).
Lancôme'due south new lippies come in 16 shiny, translucent shades that wait and feel like they were influenced by the delectable $28 Dior Addicts, with a similarly slick, ultra-thin texture.
When I applied a layer of shimmery Coral Sand (the one with silvery micro-glitter shown at the pinnacle) yesterday morning, I didn't realize how dry my pucker was at the time, and Coral Sand was not forgiving at all. It latched on to every little flake, emphasizing the facts that 1) I actually needed to exfoliate, and ii) I was probably more than a little dehydrated.
Merely after I scrubbed my lips with Lush Lip Scrub and had a glass of h2o, Fifty'Absolu looked much amend. No more flakes, and my kisser shined like freshly polished jewelry with a slight coral tint.
The potent lip-sticky fragrance, a cross between babe powder and roses, mellows out after most 15 minutes, which is great because that'south right effectually the time I think it would accept gotten annoying, LOL!
I wish L'Absolu Nu's thin, smooth texture lasted longer than it does, considering after well-nigh ninety minutes, I'd rubbed most of information technology away. That's a scrap of a bummer for $29, even though I really like this shade.
PRICE: $29 each
AVAILABILITY: At Lancôme stores, counters and also online

I like giraffes but…
Call up that cute little Kate Spade wallet with the giraffe impress I was drooling over a few weeks ago? Well, Kate put the same print on a dress! 🙂
Cover yourself in giraffes from caput-to-toe with the Two By Two Dana Dress ($325). LOL! Kudos to Kate for being and then quirky, but I dunno. Is in that location a cap on the number of giraffes one can have on her body if she's older than, say, viii? I fear my max is about three.
Your friendly neighborhood beauty addict,

P.South. Happy hump day!
